Hi friends,

A suggestion: would it be an idea to make it compulsory for members to sign up for the forum? If this is the case, we can create a reliable voting system, information can be shared much more efficiently, and we can all get to know each other much better!

You might even recruit recruits (lol what a strange language at times...), make them register to the forum and write up an introduction of themselves and an application letter, which needs to be approved by officers before the recruit is promoted to member.

This is just a suggestion, curious to your thoughts!

Regards,

Hey Franc, I have thought about this issue, particularly when it comes to forming rules and events. It would give the leadership of Bushido a good impression of what its members wanted if as many as possible(if not all) voices in the kinship are heard. I do find that sending out the odd kinship mail message(via in-game) does push some people into signing up to see what's happening in Bushido; however I have realised that some people prefer to take a much more casual approach to the game and therefore do not visit the forums regularly if at all. Obviously, I'm the type of person that likes to be involved but there's a number of people who don't and that has to be respected.

My personal view on recruits is that we don't demand too much off them and that their promotion to member is based solely on the length of time in Bushido. However as I'm not "the leader" anymore I leave this open for my fellow officers to debate. I do think asking people to sign up to the forums and introduce themselves is a legitimate stance and the thought has crossed my mind, but I've come to the conclusion that people can be involved as much or as little as they like and therefore we only suggest it to them. People will get more involved when they feel ready to be involved Smile
